It’s that time again – time to start making my shopping list for the annual holiday edition of the Renegade Craft Fair!

I’m not just shopping the event, I will also be selling my wares! Once more I am collaborating with Caitlin Peters of Wanderlustings to create an invitingly boutique-like booth that will be filled to the brim with clothing, jewelry and festive accessories.

Stop by to visit and you’ll find my popular Sir Cycle men’s hoodies, the forever adorable Cosby skirts, my Peek A Boo Chevron cardigans and more! Plus – wear a Pierogi Picnic design to the event and you’ll receive a 30% discount on your purchase with me that day!!!

Be sure to swing by the event this weekend in Wicker Park to stock up on all your gift needs!

Renegade is less than a month away! For all you Chicagoans who will be braving the crowds this year – I’ll be bringing you looks at merchandise I’m debuting for the fair. So prepare for your appetites to be thoroughly whetted!

This first “Sneak Peek” is of my new handmade shopping totes. Made out of second-hand linens – these adorable folksy bags will be free gifts to anyone who spends $60 or more in my booth! They’ll also be up for sale individually, for those of you looking to stay frugal at the fair. They were machine sewn and then stencil printed all by moi. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s the eve of the eve – and if you’re still grappling for gifts than look no further. We collected some of the cutest and chicest printable presents off Etsy. Simply purchase the item and you’ll receive a downloadable file to print from home. Everything from coloring pages and toys to art and prints – this collection will save you from the stress of finishing up your holiday shopping.

One of my favorite recent designs, the “Dear Darling,” was featured on the Acute Design website in an article about supporting handmade businesses for the holidays.

The post gives consumers lots of suggestions for conscious holiday shopping while featuring some online artisans like me! Take a peek at the full article here.

The Holiday rendition of the Renegade Craft Fair is almost here! And I am poised to rock things out in what has become a yearly tradition of crafting, shopping, and crowd control!

The event will be taking place at the Pulaski Park Fieldhouse, just North of Division on Blackhawk from 11am-6pm both days. I will be there in full force sharing my cozy booth (#56!) with the lovely Caitlin Peters of Wanderlustings.

Today is the day – the first day of my favorite season – autumn! To celebrate I’ve curated the following collection using my favorite items off Etsy. Enjoy!

I’m still basking in the joy of this past weekend’s Renegade Craft Fair. Being among such driven and talented vendors is inspiring and encouraging. It gives one a sense of camaraderie and shows that the craft revolution is still going strong despite the failing economy.

The wares of the crafters were incredible this year. Each way I turned I found yet another unique handmade creation that I could barely contain myself from snatching up. The following is a peek at the damage I did do. I anticipate that more will follow once I start my holiday shopping two months forth. Read the rest of this entry »
